East Stockton Urgent Care Providers Share Tips to Prevent Heat Stroke

Are you ready for a full week of live music, games, exciting rides, and so many more fun activities this summer? If yes, then attend the San Joaquin County Fair, which is scheduled to take place in late June.

The first day it will be open from 5PM to 11PM, but the remainder of the week the fair doors will open much earlier, at noon. Considering this schedule, it would be prudent to heed the advice of your local East Stockton urgent care center to take necessary measures to protect against conditions like heat stroke.

What is Heat Stroke?

Heat stroke occurs when the body is exposed to excessive heat and fails to naturally cool down. Normally, sweating would ventilate the body, so if you notice the absence of sweat despite feeling hot, then it’s a sign that you could possibly be experiencing a heat stroke.
